The challenge

The client first contacted Google in November 2012. With a total of 400 employees and 300 hundred potential users, they were looking for a solution that could help them replace their current email server (MS Exchange 2007) and offer them new communication capabilities. The company’s chief executive were reluctant to migrate to a new solution due to the high availability and reliability required to satisfy each of the employee’s communication needs.

The solution

After evaluating the project, Google decided to share this lead with us in order to start a much closer relationship with the client. The client received the corresponding quote, Lotus website and service trial within a couple days. After evaluating the proposal, the client decided to go Google and the lead was closed on December 30th, 2012. After experiencing a crash in their email service during early March, the IT department decided to have a ‘Big Bang’ deployment and migrate all of their users in a single weekend. All 300 Santamarina&Steta’s users are currently using G Suite.
