Grupo Lomas road to digital transformation and remote work

The Challenge

Grupo Lomas’ information technology team had been using Google Workspace Legacy Edition for years, however, it was never properly implemented and integrated within the organization. Furthemore, it had several limitations that did not match the current organization’s needs. In addition, this edition had several functionality limitations and did not provide the collaborative environment required. The cost of having such an incomplete service was too high, pushing them to acquire another vendor’s licencing licensing in order to have tools such as spreadsheet and word processing software. This situation had become critical due to the pandemic, as the company had the impending need to decentralize, be fully compatible with remote work and reduce the use of physical paperwork to a maximum.

The Solution

The entire IT team, working hand in hand with Nubosoft’s Google Certified Collaboration Engineers successfully went through a Google Workspace Enterprise Standard implementation project compliant with Google’s guidelines. After the implementation project,  every single user migrated to the new platform, including their legacy email and files, gaining several improvements in both collaboration and productivity, such as:
