The Challenge

As one of the main operator of gaming and entertainment establishments in Mexico, Logrand is always on the lookout for new ways to innovate and disrupt its industry. The way their employees communicate and collaborate is diverse, they are spread across all the casinos they operate in the country and their operation rhythm could only be described as frantic.  The company’s top executives knew that a tool that could bringing the company closer together would but give them a valuable strategic advantage. They considered that any tool that could empower sharing and collaboration would be a smart way to make operations more efficient.

At Logrand, each of the group’s casinos operates independently, running its own administrative processes. To improve productivity, the group looked to create a unified communications platform, where information and resources could be shared freely, always of course, ensuring both privacy and security. More than getting a new email and videoconference tool, the company looked to create a cultural change.

Logrand had a lot of different platforms which were outdated, constantly had connectivity problems and didn’t allow interaction between members and outside collaborators. The company’s business was booming, in contrast, the company was having trouble both establishing a single internal collaboration platform and finding the right infrastructure provider for its ever growing technology needs.

The Solution

Google’s team and Nubosoft worked together showing them how Google G Suite could aid them replacing each one of them. Logrand decided to team up with Nubosoft in this endeavor, our team worked hand in hand defining the right strategy to help them in their migration process to G Suite. Logrand left behind MS 365, replaced IBM Connections with Google Drive and let Google Hangouts Meet take over Webex. However, the biggest challenge was to aid them to switch from Sharepoint to Google Sites. Using G Suite tools such as Google Hangouts Meet, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar, the company can offer employees and collaborators productivity tools that are intuitive and easy to use.

Today, employees can access their email and documents from any mobile or web-enabled device, without using remote access systems such as VPN. They can easily work from home or on the go, removing barriers for communication and innovation while enhancing mobile access. After just a few months, their staff is seeing the advantages of G Suite, with a gain in productivity across the group. They have reduced both its licensing and hardware costs, they have attained a high degree of collaboration and their system’s overall uptime has been greatly improved. In Nubosoft, the company found the business partner it needed.
